Krupanidhi College of Pharmacy (KCP), NAAC ‘A+’ and NBA accredited institution successfully organized its flagship international conference, KrupaPharmaCon 2026, on February 12, 2026, at its Bengaluru campus. The conference, themed ‘Intelligent Pharma: Transforming Data, Innovation & Research into Patient Impact,’ reflected bridging academia and industry, fostering innovation, and preparing future professionals to meet global healthcare challenges. The conference was inaugurated by Prof. Mirza R Baig, Professor & programme director, Dubai Medical University, UAE, who delivered the keynote address on “Innovative Pedagogical Approaches in Pharmacy Education: Bridging Knowledge, Practice, and Patient Care.” Guests of Honour included Prof. Dr. Chayan Picheansoonthon, Fellow of the Royal Institute of Thailand, who spoke on ‘Indian Materia Medica in Thai Herbal Pharmacopoeia (THP) and Thai Herbal Preparation Pharmacopoeia (THPP),’ and Dr. Shivakumar Swamy, Dean, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. Among the distinguished speakers were: Dr. Atmaram Pawar, Principal, Bharati Vidyapeeth Poona College of Pharmacy, Pune addressed “Promotion of Research, Innovation and IPR as per NEP 2020.” Dr. Swati Biswas, BITS Pilani, Hyderabad spoke on “Nano-Drug Delivery Systems: From Disease Targeting to Therapy.” Prof. N.C. Shivaprakash, IISc Bengaluru addressed on “Role of Technologies in Pharma and Health Care.” Dr. Srinivas Muthalik, Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences delved on the topic, “Translational Drug Delivery – Novel Extrusion Technology and Nanotheranostics: Overview & Case Studies.” Dr. Raghava Sriramaneni, Nivagen Pharmaceuticals, USA spoke on “Multifunctional Antibody Therapeutics for Treating Cancer.” Dr. Neelima Gupta, NUS Medicine, Singapore spoke on “AI as a Teaching Partner: Preparing the Precision Medicine Workforce through Pharmacology Education Innovation.” Dr Sivaramakrishnan Muthuswamy, Bioplus Life Sciences, Bengaluru – “The Rise of Intelligent Pharma: AI-Driven Transformation of the Drug Lifecycle.” Prof. Dr. Nazim Sekeroglu, Gaziantep University, Turkey – “An Inspiring Model in the Integration of Phytotherapy and Modern Health Systems: Türkiye.”Dr. Kenny James P. Merin, Lyceum of the Philippines University – “The Role of Intelligent Pharmacy in Diabetes Care and Vaccination Strategies.” Dr. Skala Mamand Jawhar, Catholic University, Erbil, Iraq – “From Experimental Data to Therapeutic Impact: Effects of Dapagliflozin and Eplerenone on Cardiac Biomarkers in Heart Failure.” Dr. Israa Nabeel Adil, Catholic University, Erbil, Iraq spoke on “Evaluating the Impact of Clinical Pharmacist-Led, Patient-Centered Interventions on Therapeutic Outcomes in Asthmatic Patients in Northern Iraq: An Intelligent Pharma Approach.” The panel discussion, moderated by Dr. Raman Dang, Principal, KCP, featured Dr. Gopal Pawar, Unilever, UK, who presented on “Integration of Biorelevant Pediatric Dissolution Methodology into PBPK Modeling,” and Dr. Goh Choon Fu, Universiti Sains Malaysia, who spoke on “Machine Learning–Driven Predictions for Microneedle Mechanical Performance.” KrupaPharmaCon 2026 concluded on a high note, successfully blending scientific excellence with cultural celebration, reaffirming our dedication to nurturing well-rounded professionals equipped to contribute to innovation-driven and patient-focused healthcare systems, said the Krupanidhi College of Pharmacy communication note.
