NSRCEL and DailyRounds showcase AI diagnostics, smart surgical tools, and next-gen healthcare innovations at MedTech Day 2026

MedTech Day 2026, hosted by NSRCEL and DailyRounds spotlighted how homegrown startups are not just imagining the future of healthcare but building it. From AI-driven diagnostics that cut analysis times by 80% to multi-functional surgical instruments designed and manufactured in India, these innovators are proving that world-class healthcare solutions can be created, tested, and scaled locally and deployed globally.

Startups incubated under NSRCEL’s Healthcare Incubation Programme are transforming India’s healthcare landscape, moving rapidly from ideas to proof-of-concept and market-ready solutions. NSRCEL, through its healthcare-focused incubation initiatives, continues to create pathways for indigenous innovation through easing regulatory hurdles, funding readiness, market access, and global expansion. The event, hosted in partnership with DailyRounds, brought together startup founders, hospitals, investors, government and industry leaders to accelerate the country’s medtech ecosystem.

Attendees included Varun Dubey, founder & CEO, Superhealth, Manisha Kumar, COO, South Region, Karnataka, HealthCare Global (HCG), and Chaitanya Sarawate, president & CEO - India and South Asia, GE Healthcare & MD, Wipro-GE among others who shared perspectives on India’s evolving healthcare landscape.

The event featured startup showcases, venture pitches, and ecosystem roundtables, covering topics such as regulatory readiness, procurement pathways, pilot deployments, and commercialization strategies. Startups across medical devices, digital health, AI-powered solutions, digital therapeutics, and advanced drug delivery systems demonstrated India’s growing healthcare innovation capabilities.

“India’s healthcare innovation ecosystem is entering a pivotal phase. Startups are not only building breakthrough technologies but also addressing fundamental challenges around access, affordability, and scalability. Platforms like MedTech Day are enabling startups to move faster from lab to real-world impact while strengthening India’s indigenous medtech capabilities,” said Anand Sri Ganesh, CEO, NSRCEL.

Notable startups at MedTech Day were Blue Phoenix Technologies displaying multi-functional electrosurgical instruments. Their AI-assisted and IoT-enabled solutions help surgeons track and improve surgical outcomes affordably.
