 Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday, March 6, inaugurated KDSG Super-Speciality Hospital, a 300-bedded, full-spectrum tertiary care institution at Sector 10, Greater Noida (West), marking a milestone in strengthening healthcare infrastructure in the National Capital Region (NCR) and reinforcing the state government’s focus on expanding access to quality tertiary care in rapidly developing urban corridors.
Founded by India’s 1983 Cricket World Cup winning captain Kapil Dev and Sunil Kumar Gupta, KDSG Super-Speciality Hospital has been established on the conviction that access to quality healthcare must not be determined by a patient’s financial position.
The hospital is operated by Ajeenkya DY Patil Healthcare, the specialist healthcare arm of the Ajeenkya DY Patil Group. With four decades of institutional experience, structured clinical governance systems and operational discipline, Ajeenkya DY Patil Healthcare will oversee hospital operations to ensure adherence to its founding principles.
Over the past decade, Greater Noida has emerged as one of India’s fastest-growing urban centres, driven by large-scale residential development, industrial expansion and a rising professional population. However, tertiary healthcare capacity in the region has not kept pace with this growth.
