In 2012 a new concept paper binding solution was introduced in India which is working wonders for the pharma companies.
The then very tedious, time taking, expensive binding procedure followed by the QA / QC departments have conveniently been replaced by a table-top, economical and user-friendly machine, viz., the 'Tube Binding Machine '.
This machine can bind from two to 500 sheets at a time by heat sealing process, using a special type of nylon material in the form of a 6 mm diameter Tube. For 500 sheets book it takes just one minute, with two bindings taking 30 seconds each. The cost of binding on this machine is the most economical with a 100 sheets book costing Rs. 2.50 and a 500 sheets book costing a mere Rs. six over two bindings.
The pharma industry found extensive utility in this equipment since its introduction into the market and more than 120 pharma companies throughout India are using over 500 machines. Many industry majors like Cipla, Micro labs, Intas, Dr Reddy's, Hetero, laurus labs, Sun Pharma, Glenmark are among the many users of the product.
Apart from the pharma companies, many State and Central Government offices, law firms, High Courts among many have found utility in this machine and over 800 machines are in use pan India.
